In Memory of
Sharayah este es la Amiga Con Dios
June 4,1998 - July 30,2007

Sharayah, este es la Amiga con Dios came into my life in 1998 as an 8 week puppy.  God put her in my life to get me thru some very troubled times.  Without her and her best friend, Ginger, the cat I probably would not be here now.  Sharayah licked my mental and emotional wounds, listened patiently without judging, kissed me when I needed a friend but could not trust people.  Sharayah has been in my life for 9 years now.  God sent her on a mission and now that mission is completed, He has taken her to be with Him. All the way to the end, to her final days, she showed her love and provided many kisses in spite of her pain and discomfort  from metastatic breast cancer

REST IN PEACE SHARAYAH - I'LL SEE YOU SOON!!!

Friends Forever
June 26,2007
(stop background sound below)
Sharayah went home in the arms of the angels on Monday July 30, 2007 in her home, on her bed with her best friends, me and Ginger Sue Marie, her feline friend by her side. She has her final resting place in the country surrounded by all of God's creation.  I don't know what I am going to do without her but I know her journey and mission is complete - many years ago she kept me alive when I wanted to die and I know she can now go home to her heavenly master and say "mission accomplished"
Sharayah este es la amiga con Dios - "God's friend, friend of God"

Are not two sparrows sold for a penny ? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father. (Matthew 10.29)

But ask the animals, and they will teach you (Job 12.7)

I also thought, "As for men, God tests them so that they may see that they are like the animals. Man's fate is like that of the animals; the same fate awaits them both: As one dies, so dies the other. All have the same breath  ; man has no advantage over the animal...
All go to the same place; all come from dust, and to dust all return.
(Ecc. 3.18-19)

Be not afraid, O wild animals,
for the open pastures are becoming green.
      The trees are bearing their fruit;
the fig tree and the vine yield their riches (Joel2.22)

Dogs in Heaven
Author Unknown

A man and his dog were walking along a road. The man was enjoying the scenery, when it suddenly occurred to him that he was dead. He remembered dying, and that the dog walking beside him had been dead for years.  He wondered where the road was leading them.

After a while, they came to a high, white stone  wall along one side of the road. It looked like fine marble.  At the top of a long hill, the stone wall was broken by a tall arch that glowed in the sunlight. When the man stood before it he saw a magnificent gate in the arch that looked like mother-of-pearl.   The street that led to the gate looked like pure gold.   He and the dog walked toward the gate, and as he got closer, he saw a man at a desk to one side.

When the traveler was close enough, he called out, "Excuse me, where are we?"

"This is Heaven, sir," the man at the desk answered.

"Wow! Would you happen to have some water?" the traveler asked.

"Of course, sir. Come right in, and I'll have some ice water brought right up." The man gestured, and the gate began to open.

"Can my friend," gesturing towards his dog, "come in, too?" the traveler asked.

"I'm sorry, sir, but we don't accept pets" replied the man.

The traveler thought a moment and then turned back toward the road and continued the way he had been going with his dog.

After another long walk, and at the top of another long hill, he came to a dirt road leading through a farm gate that looked as if it had never been closed. There was no fence. As he approached the gate, he saw a man inside, leaning against a tree and reading a book.

"Excuse me!" he called to the man.  "Do you have any water?"

"Yeah, sure, there's a pump over there, come on in."

"How about my friend here?" the traveler gestured to the dog.

"There should be a bowl by the pump."

They went through the gate, and sure enough, there was an old-fashioned hand pump with a bowl beside it. The traveler filled the water bowl and took a long drink, and then he gave some to the dog. When they were full, he and the dog walked back toward the man who was standing by the tree.

"What do you call this place?" the traveler asked.

"This is Heaven," he answered.

"Well, that's confusing," the traveler said. "The man down the road said that was Heaven, too."

"Oh, you mean the place with the gold street and pearly gates? Nope. That's Hell disguised as Heaven."

"Doesn't it make you mad for them to use your name like that?” asked the traveler.

"No, we're just happy that they screen out the folks who would leave their best friends behind."

For the SOUL of EVERY living thing is in the hand of God (Job 12:10)
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there, I did not die...
This concludes my page deidcated to my best friend.  I hope and pray all of you find a friend like Sharayah was to me - everyone needs at least one friend like her in their life - I thank God for each day I had to spend with my "girlfriend".
